The Turkish flagged, 2549 GRT Kocatepe S cargo ship, while loaded with rolled sheet metal, ran aground near Orta Fener Island due to weather opposition and suffered an accident.

Scope of the Studies
 
In order for the ship to be refloated, part of its cargo was made in limbo and the fixing (lashing) process was carried out by our company.
Approximately 1400 tons of rolled sheet metal were made in limbo from Kocatepe S with the leased Ro-Ro ship Yavuz Naz and given to Akçansa.
