The following studies have been carried out under the control of the insurance company Iran Insurance:

- First of all, the ship is surrounded by barriers against the possibility of pollution.
- Then, an underwater survey was conducted to determine the condition of the ship, and tears measuring 100 X 50 cm were found on the lower plates in different places, and these tears were temporarily repaired by sealing them with steel plates.
- After the temporary repairs, water discharge equipment was installed for the buoyancy of the ship and the water on the ship was drained.
- The lubricating oil and oil drums on the machines have been removed and given to the CBESSA.
- The pollutants on board were collected manually and placed in sturdy plastic bags and stored in metal/plastic barrels. After that, together with the dirty water removed from the ship, it was given to an authorized organization in Azerbaijan (CBESSA).
- The ship was refloated on July 16, 2006.
- July 20-23, 2006, after the positive report of the insurance surveyor about the ship, Bimeh was towed to a BP-owned facility in Primorsk Port, located near Baku, on the Caspian Sea, Decamped by the Iranian Insurance Company and delivered to its owner.
