While connected to GEMSAN Shipyard, the chemical substance tanker named 5330 DWT and 3418 GRT Metin KA, which was located in the Çindemir Shipyard adjacent to the pier side of the TPAO tanker, which began to burn as a result of a large explosion, was in danger of fire due to the passage of flames and the falling of burning objects on the 5330 DWT and 3418 GRT Metin KA, which were attached to the stern with two irons thrown.

Scope of the Studies
 
-Both iron chains of the Metin KA tanker were cut off when it was about to start burning by intervening with our tugboat named MB 7002, which reached the scene shortly after the fire on the TPAO tanker.
-He was towed away from the scene by our tug and was taken to Yardıclar Shipyard and taken to safety.
-During the shooting process, flames were seen above the ship's head and were extinguished by intervening immediately. In addition, the crude oil that Decayed into the sea from the front of the TPAO tanker started to burn at some point and water was immediately squeezed out and this fire was also intervened.
-As a result of our timely intervention, maneuverability was provided to the tugs involved in the firefighting work and the fire was prevented from spreading to the floating pool on the pier side where the Metin KA tanker was attached, the tanker inside and other connected vessels.
