The Event That Took Place
 
The Moldova-flagged, LOA 81,64 m, 2,135 GRT, general cargo ship Fortuna S ran aground on the cruise route on the southern shore of the Sulina breakwater while entering the channel with a cargo of 2,650 tons of salt from Syria.

Scope of the Studies
 
- Within the framework of the agreement made with the P&I club, within the scope of the project; the work was carried out to collect the ship, its cargo, bunker, the material spread around the ship, to repair the damage caused by the wreck to the breakwater.
