Scope of the Studies
 
On March 15, 2002, the contract was signed and the tasks of floating the pontoon, repairing it in the pool at a shipyard located within the borders of Tuzla/Istanbul, renewing its class and delivering it to its owner by taking it to Samsun were undertaken.
 
- When our team arrived in the region, it immediately started flotation operations, the pontoon was refloated and towed to the mooring area of Samsun Port by our rescue tug.
- Underwater survey was carried out by our divers in accordance with the directives of the surveyor appointed by RINA and under his supervision. The surveyor guided the survey by monitoring and controlling the underwater survey of our divers through the closed-circuit video-television set and Divelink underwater electronic communication system that we installed in ROSETTIUNO. The representative of the ship owner and the insurance company also participated in the survey.
- Afterwards, the pontoon was towed first to Sinop Port and then to GEMSAN Şahin Steel Shipyard in Tuzla for repair and class operations.
- April 1, 2002, under the supervision of RINA surveyors and representatives of the equipment repair work began and was completed on April 16, 2002.
- On April 16, 2002, dubaya received a class certificate from RINA.
- After that, the pontoon was taken back to Samsun by our tug on April 24 and delivered to its owner.
In the studies, our Pehlivan II tug, our Hercules floating crane and our Submersible tug were used.
